Reshaping rural extension: Learning for sustainability

About 40 per cent of the world’s population earn their livelihoods from agriculture, with the vast majority of these living in poverty on small-scale farms. Building on more than 30 years of successful work in extension and advisory systems, the authors of this book provide extension workers with guidance on how to offer small-scale farmers more effective support. Presented here through a selection of methods and tools, this innovative approach can also be applied in practice.
